A company transporting mining raw materials (ferrous and non-ferrous, including bauxite) operates under an unusually high number of simultaneous variables: political shifts, monetary instability, fuel shortages, fuel theft, and difficulty sourcing spare parts to keep the fleet running without interruption. This is the technical use case of the platform we designed to give it control over that complexity.
Mineral raw-material transport combines the usual fleet-management risks — fuel consumption, maintenance, routes — with high-impact, hard-to-predict external factors: fuel-price swings, geopolitical and socioeconomic decisions, fuel shortages and theft, and delays sourcing spare parts after an accident or breakdown. Any one of these can stop a truck, and no standard management board pulled them together in one place.
We designed a dynamic real-time dashboard with a global view of the operation and the ability to dive into the detail of any specific point — a vehicle, a route, an incident — without losing the overview. Alongside the dashboard, an AI agent continuously tracks what's been done and what's in progress, and delivers advice and improvement recommendations. A daily-style module flags information directly relevant to the activity: industry announcements, market movements, fuel prices, and geopolitical or socioeconomic decisions with potential impact on the operation.
The company moved from reacting late to each disruption to anticipating it: market, risk and maintenance information is centralized and current, with as much detail as the moment requires.
