E-invoicing: Bercy hails a good start, 75% of companies have picked a platform

After a first monitoring committee on 8 October 2026, the government reports more than 20 million invoices exchanged since 1 September. Companies point to the cost and clarity of the offers.

According to Le Figaro with AFP (9 October 2026), Bercy says the reform is off to a start "ahead" of targets: by 4 October, 75% of VAT-liable companies had designated a receiving platform, and more than 20 million invoices, worth over 70 billion euros, had been exchanged. No penalty will apply in 2026 to companies without a platform, and SMEs will also have to issue invoices this way from 1 September 2027.

Committee participants nevertheless report difficulties: the clarity and cost of the roughly 150 platforms' offers, the needs of very small companies, and interoperability between platforms. Among SME managers, an Ipsos BVA study for Kolecto (1 October) finds 54% favourable, against 59% in 2025 and 69% in 2024. For a domiciliation network the invoice becomes a structured flow; the human work around it remains: chasing a late payer, answering "where is my invoice?".

For AppH

  • Where the platform stops, an assistant can prepare payment reminders and answer routine questions about an invoice, using the branch's own rules.
  • A person stays in control: the branch approves the wording and timing of reminders and takes over any dispute.

Against / the honest limit

  • AppH is not an approved platform and does not issue, transmit or receive e-invoices: it only works around them, on reminders and information.
  • The start-up figures are Bercy's, and the Kolecto survey covers SME managers in general, not domiciliation networks; we have no measurement specific to this trade.

A well-structured invoice does not settle a late payment. The time saved comes from what surrounds the flow: reminding at the right moment, in the right tone, under a person's control.
