Business failures: Banque de France confirms a record, and business-advisory/support services is the hardest-hit sector
According to official Banque de France statistics as of end of July 2026, 70,605 business failures were recorded over the past twelve months — 19% above the 2010-2019 average. The "advisory and business support" sector, which covers service providers to small and micro businesses including domiciliation agents, shows the sharpest deterioration: +42.3% versus that historical average, far ahead of industry (+0.4%).
The Banque de France figure doesn't explain the precise cause of any single failure. But it confirms a clear imbalance between sectors: industry holds up far better than advisory and business-support activities (+42.3% vs. historical average) or accommodation and food service (+31.4%). These are sectors with heavy day-to-day administrative load — front desk, mail, invoicing, file tracking — where every hour spent on a repetitive task is an hour not spent finding a client or chasing an unpaid invoice.
For a multi-branch network like ABCLIV, this figure doesn't mean AI prevents a business failure — that would be a false promise, and AppH doesn't make it. It means front-desk workload (mail pickup, certificates, greeting visitors) is a cost the Pack Accueil can absorb without extra headcount, so the owner's or team's time goes toward what actually weighs on survival: payment follow-ups and the customer relationship.
For AppH
- The figure comes from an official, neutral source (Banque de France), not a sales pitch: it confirms that the business-services sector, ABCLIV's sector, is objectively more fragile than the all-sector average.
- The gap between sectors points to repetitive administrative load as concrete ground — exactly what the Pack Accueil comes to relieve at the counter, without touching the owner's financial management.
Against / the honest limit
- Banque de France establishes no causal link between failure and administrative load: that's AppH's own reading, not a conclusion of the official document.
- The Pack Accueil doesn't handle cash flow or failure risk — it relieves a time burden at the counter, nothing more, and should never be presented as a financial-management or risk-prevention tool.
An official Banque de France figure, not a sales argument: the business-services sector takes the sharpest deviation from the historical average of any sector measured. That doesn't prove a front-desk tool prevents a business failure — but it confirms that time spent on repetitive counter tasks is a real cost, in a sector where every hour counts more than elsewhere.
